Today I went to get a box of cereal, this is what I found...
...which made me think of the other two things I found in the last day...
Orange Peels on the top of the office desk.
Orange Peels in the top of Gary's closet.
Yes, Maria strikes again. Aparently orange peels need to be dried before they hit the compost pile. The other reason she says is that they prevent something bad from happening.

My oboe playing friend used to take my orange peels after lunch and put them in his instrument case. They help with the humidity levels...or something. ;) I always love a good in-laws story.
At least they smell nice--right? Or do they get yucky rotton smelling? I couldn't help but notice the Trader Joe's Thai Yellow Curry bottles--is it any good? I love their Thai Green Curry. Tastes like the real deal!
My brother also kept orange peels in his clarinet case - his reason was the moisture...mine is that it kept his case from smelling like mildewing spit. Who knows?
